洒落処RUTSUBOのスーベニア手ぬぐい。 坩堝ではおなじみの YU SUDAが描いた「洒落処RUTSUBO」ロゴを反応染で施した店とオンラインストア限定の定番手ぬぐいです。 スカーフとして使うもよし、帽子の下にバンダナのように巻くのも良し。 生地は岡（おか）生地は30番手の細い糸で編まれており、目が細かくしっとりと、なめらかで柔らかく、サラッとした手ざわりがします。 MADE IN JAPAN 手ぬぐいの端は切りっぱなしになっています。そのため、手ぬぐいには「ほつれ」が出てきます。このほつれは「手ぬぐいならではの魅力」。 元々江戸時代で着物を作る際に余った布を「手ぬぐい」として使用していました。江戸時代では、下駄や雪駄を履くことが一般的だったため、鼻緒が切れた場合の応急処置として手ぬぐいが使われることもあったようです。 怪我をした時に汚れや血をふき取るだけでなく、骨を折ったりした際などは棒などを一緒に挟んで固定させたり、と使用用途は万能。 手ぬぐいの端を切りっぱなしにしておくことで、水分が溜まりにくく乾きが早くなります。生乾きの匂いも軽減され、梅雨の時期や、冬の洗濯物が乾きにくいシーズンにはこの機能性が特に活躍します。 The ends of tenugui are left unfinished. Leaving the ends of tenugui unfinished prevents moisture from accumulating and allows them to dry faster. It also reduces the smell of damp laundry, making this functionality especially useful during the rainy season and winter when laundry is difficult to dry.
